Terms of service for reservations.
Meeting Room & Day Pass Reservation Terms (One‑Time Bookings)
Applies to one‑time meeting room reservations and single‑day coworking day‑pass reservations (not recurring memberships).
1) Booking & Use
1.1 Scope. A reservation grants time‑limited access to the reserved room/area for the booked window including setup and teardown. Early access or overtime is subject to availability and billed at posted rates in 30‑minute increments.
1.2 Purpose & Conduct. Use rooms for meetings, trainings, interviews, or similar lawful business activities. Follow house rules, noise limits, capacity, and building policies. You are responsible for your attendees and vendors.
1.3 Furniture & Setup. Standard layouts are available; custom setups must be requested in advance and may incur labor fees. Rooms must be left in substantially the same condition.
1.4 Technology. Basic Wi‑Fi is included on a best‑effort basis. AV equipment is provided only as listed on your confirmation and is subject to availability.
2) Payments
2.1 Payment. Full payment is due at booking unless otherwise stated.
3) Changes, Reschedules, & Cancellations
3.1 Meeting Rooms: 24 hour notice on all meetings rooms. 72 hour notice on The Century Ballroom.
3.3 Day‑Pass (one‑time). Non‑refundable once purchased; you may move it to new date of service.
3.4 No‑Shows. No‑shows are billed at 100%.
3.5 Force Majeure. See Section 7.2.
4) Food, Beverage & Alcohol
4.1 Food. Outside catering is allowed if pre‑approved and compliant with health & safety rules. No cooking, open flames, or fryers. All deliveries and pickups must occur within your booked window unless otherwise agreed.
4.2 Alcohol. Alcohol service is permitted only where expressly included in your confirmation through The Century or a licensed and insured vendor pre‑approved by us and compliant with California ABC laws. No self‑service alcohol.
5) Vendors, Insurance & Damages
5.1 Vendors. You are responsible for your vendors’ compliance. We may require vendor pre‑approval.
5.2 Damages & Excess Cleaning. You are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and for excessive cleaning. Fees are charged at posted rates.
6) Capacity, Safety & Compliance
6.1 Capacity. Do not exceed room capacities.
6.2 Safety. Keep exits clear; comply with fire/life‑safety rules. No hazardous materials.
6.3 Recording & Photography. Allowed in your reserved space if it does not disturb others and complies with privacy laws and building rules.
7) Disclaimers & Liability
7.1 AS‑IS. Rooms and amenities are provided as is and as available.
7.2 Force Majeure. Neither party is liable for delays or failures due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., utility failures, extreme weather, labor actions, governmental orders). We may substitute a comparable room, reschedule, or credit you.
7.3 Indemnity & Limits. You agree to indemnify us for third‑party claims arising from your event, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Our aggregate liability is limited to the reservation fees actually paid.
8) Miscellaneous
8.1 Governing Law & Venue. California law; venue in Stanislaus County, CA state courts (or small claims as eligible).
8.2 Notices. We will send confirmations and notices to the email used to book. You must keep your contact details current.
8.3 Entire Agreement. These Reservation Terms plus your confirmation constitute the full agreement for the booking.
